After one week, she's smiling more and crying less. She's allowing us to comfort her more.
She's less emotional over food now. She's understanding that she can have more food. Her high chair is one of her favorite spots.
She still loves her toys and plays happily with them for hours. She loves it that her brothers and sisters sit down several times a day to play and interact with her.
Since she's been home, she has let me rock and sing her to sleep every night. It's such a special time and a very specific answer to prayer. Today, during the day, she lifted her arms for me to pick her up and hold her in the rocking chair. She laid her head on my shoulder and let me rock her and pat her back for quite a long time. She would stop every so often to look at my face and smile and then lay her head back down. Sweet girl, you have your very own Mama now and she loves you so much and will hold you and rock you every day.
We've gotten a little glimpse of the beautiful sparkle of joy she has. I can't wait to get to see it shine more and more. It really is like seeing the sun peek out on a cloudy day.
We feel so blessed to have Ally home. We are so blessed to be her family.

One week already!!! She is doing so well. It is so wonderful seeing her at home with her wonderful family. We love you all- Courtney
