Rachel captured these pictures of Ally looking out the window and then playing peek-a-boo in the curtains. She's doing really, really well. I'll write a detail post soon!

The Orphan Crisis...What can we do to help??

Learn about struggles of orphaned children. Share what you learn with others.

Pray. Ask for the Lord's protection and provision for these little ones. Pray for them to be rescued. Pray for families who are adopting. Pray for the governments of the countries where they reside. Pray for the people devoting their time and energy to finding families and for those who visit the orphanages and minister to the orphans.

Adopt. Do you have room for a child? Prayerfully consider opening your heart and your home to a child in need of a family. One statistic I read said that if 6-7% of Christians would adopt that would provide homes for all of the adoptable orphans. I don't know if that statistic is accurate. Look into it and see what you learn.

Advocate. Pick a child and hold them up for the world to see. Share pictures and any information you can get. Let everyone see that this child is a real child who needs a real family. Pray and ask others to pray for this child. Raise funds for the child's adoption.

Support. Put money into child grants on Reece's Rainbow. Give to an adopting family. Sponsor an orphan. Support missionaries who visit orphans and show them the love of Christ.
